Man attacked near Edinburgh retail park as police investigate

Police Scotland have launched an investigation after a man was attacked near a retail park on Friday.

Officers were notified of an attack on South Groathill Avenue near Craigleith Retail Park in Edinburgh at around 12.54pm on November 8.

The incident was reported by a third party and investigators are working to track down the man involved.

The investigation into the attack is still ongoing.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We were made aware of the assault of a man on South Groathill Avenue, Edinburgh at around 12.54pm on Friday 8 November 2024.

“The investigation is at an early stage.”
