Man arrested by Greene County SWAT team after refusing to leave his home during domestic disturbance

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A man was arrested after a domestic assault and refusing to leave a home Sunday morning.

According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 3200 block of W. Reese Street for a domestic assault.

When officers arrived, they saw that the 23-year-old suspect was still inside the house and refused to come out. The Greene County SWAT team was activated and obtained a search warrant for the home.

According to the sheriff’s office, the SWAT team entered the home and took the suspect into custody. He was booked into the Greene County Jail on a $10,000 bond on charges of second-degree domestic violence and resisting arrest.
