Major fire accident at Hanuman Tekdi in Hyd

Hyderabad: People gathered in large numbers on Sunday evening to witness the major fire accident at Hanman Tekdi near Tilak Road.

A major fire broke out near Pragati Maha Vidyalaya, Hanman Tekdi, near Tilak Road after fireworks were accidentally set off late this evening.

A few people nearby panicked when they witnessed the fire accident. Thick clouds of smoke enveloped the area, causing breathing problems for some attendees in the area.

Bombs and some crackers burst into the fire and sparks flew in all directions. People feared that the nearby buildings could also catch fire, adding to the severity of the accident.

However, no such adverse incident occurred. On information, fire brigade personnel rushed to the area to douse the flames and commence rescue operations.
