Magomed Ankalaev gives Poatan a stern warning, says ‘Alex Pereira won’t be able to hit him’

UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira has saved yet another major UFC card from ruin by defending his championship with a two-week announcement on the UFC 303 pay-per-view.

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor was originally scheduled to headline the UFC 303 pay-per-view against sixth-ranked UFC lightweight contender Michael Chandler in a five-round mixed martial arts bout.

Unfortunately, UFC had to cancel the bout after Mystic Mac injured his toe during a sparring session he had without safety equipment. Alex Pereira showed his heart and saved the card when he accepted the offer to defend his championship against former champion Jiri Prochazka in a rematch.

Stone Hand stunned the world after he put Jiri Prochazka to sleep with a vicious headbutt in round two. With his victory at UFC 303, Alex Pereira is now the newest face of UFC.

Magomed Ankalaev vows to end Alex Pereira’s dominance

In just eight months, Alex Pereira has competed in three huge championship fights and has managed to end each fight in less than two rounds with a brutal knockout. Pereira’s next opponent is light heavyweight Magomed Ankalaev, who is currently on a dominant run and is riding a 12-fight win streak. Ever since Alex Pereira defeated Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303, Magomed has been hounding him constantly, taunting and smearing him.

Recently, during a conversation with Aslanbek Badaev, Magomed sent another chilling warning to Poatan, stating that Alex Pereira would not be in action if they clashed in the future.

Magomed said: “Many experts understand that I can beat Pereira easily. I think that with his speed he will not hit me at all. The only thing he can do is hit me with a low kick. I want to beat him up. I just want to attack him, show him that I am better than him.”
