Magical Exercise 25 26 Options on Paolo Banchero Anthony Black Jett Howard

The Orlando Magic have exercised their third-year team option on guard Anthony Black and guard-forward Jett Howard, as well as their fourth-year team option on forward Paolo Banchero.

Banchero played and started in 80 games with Orlando last season, averaging 22.6 ppg., 6.9 rpg. and a 5.4 apg. in a team-high 35.0 minpg. He became the youngest player in NBA history (21 years-154 days old) to lead his team in scoring, rebounding and assists and was named an NBA All-Star.

Black played in 69 games (33 starts) during his rookie campaign last season with Orlando, averaging 4.6 ppg., 2.0 rpg. and 1.3 apg. in 16.9 minpg., while shooting .394 (37-94) from three-point range. He scored in double figures seven times and more than 20 points twice, including a career-high 23 points on December 26 in Washington.

Howard played in 18 games during his rookie season last season with Orlando, averaging 1.6 ppg. in 3.7 minutes pg. He also played in 29 games (28 starts) with Osceola of the NBA G League, averaging 18.5 ppg., 3.8 rpg. and 2.3 pages. in 32.0 minutes pg.
