Liverpool transfer news: Stefan Bajcetic joins Red Bull Salzburg on loan

Earlier in the transfer window they signed Liverpool midfielder Bobby Clarke for a fee reported to be around £10million.

Red Bull Salzburg are top of the Austrian Bundesliga with three wins from three games and qualified for the group stage of the Champions League this week.

“I want to win the league and impress in the Champions League with my new team,” said Bajcetic.

“An important reason for my transfer is that Salzburg has focused on training young players for years. It is a club with a lot of potential.

“Pep Lijnders, who I know and respect from Liverpool, is the perfect coach for this. I’m looking forward to it all.”
