Little League Roundup: Willcox opens Little League Softball West Regional with victory

Rincons Braxton Sapp hit a bases-clearing triple and Calvin Williams And Juneau Burkhardt each had two hits and two RBIs in the win. Williams, whose two hits were doubles, also struck out 10 batters in five innings as the winning pitcher. Rincon played his aggressive brand of baseball on the basepaths with four stolen bases. Rincon advances to the championship round from the elimination bracket. It must defeat Arcadia (from the winners’ bracket) on Sunday night and Monday night to claim the title.
