Lemonade and Baseball in Bluefield

BLUEFIELD, VA (WVNS) — If you’re looking for a good baseball game and an ice-cold cup of lemonade, you can get them both at the Chamber Night Ridge Runner game at Bowen Field in Bluefield on July 10, 2024.

Visitors can go to the baseball field for one evening and get discounts on game tickets and free lemonade.

Jeff Disibbio, president and CEO of the Two Virginias Chamber of Commerce, said plans for the game have been in the works for some time.

“We already give away free lemonade one day a year and that’s in conjunction with our Chamber Night at the ballpark,” Disibbio said. “So anyone who wants to come out and get free lemonade… it’s only two dollars a person.”

Disibbio said they have been working with Ridge Runners for a few years to offer this special promotion.

The Bluefield Ridge Runners will take on the Danville Otterbots at 6:30 p.m
