Leicester given green light to complete signing of Tottenham midfielder

Leicester City have a major decision to make in the summer transfer window.

The Foxes began the summer disappointingly after winning the league title at the end of last season. Manager Enzo Maresca left the club to take over at Chelsea and key player Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall soon followed the manager to Stamford Bridge.

Dewsbury-Hall was the club’s best player last season and his numbers prove it.

The England midfielder scored 12 goals and provided 14 assists in the Championship last season as he led the Foxes back to the Premier League.

They are now looking for a replacement for the midfielder and according to The Telegraph they have targeted Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp.

The Tottenham midfielder is also being chased by Southampton and Ipswich, making it difficult for the Foxes to sign the player.

The midfielder wants to leave Tottenham because he wants to play more and he gets little playing time at Tottenham.

He is keen to start a new chapter in his career and the Foxes are lining up to sign him.

They see him as the player who can fill the void left by Dewsbury-Hall’s departure.

Leicester are in need of a midfield reinforcement this summer and Harry Winks, who played with Skipp at Tottenham, could play a part in convincing the player to join the club.
