Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly considering the option of signing Leeds United full-back Rasmus Kristensen on a permanent deal.

According to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Dino Toppmoller is keen to sign the Denmark international on a permanent contract after his impressive start in Germany.

The 27-year-old will be loaned out to Die Adler this season after spending last season in Italy for AS Roma.

However, with Leeds United successfully including a purchase option clause worth around £13 million in the defender’s latest contract, Frankfurt will have the opportunity to sign him permanently – something they are considering doing once the January window opens.

Although Frankfurt’s season is only nine games in, Kristensen has already directly contributed to two goals. His contract at Elland Road expires in the summer of 2027.
