The best North American League of Legends teams will once again converge on the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, California for the LCS Summer Split 2024.

From massive format changes to new faces, all eight teams will be competing for a shot at the LCS Championship and, from there, a qualifying spot for the Competition World Championship. FlyQuest claimed the Spring Split regular season title, but it was Team Liquid who ultimately won the split. Do they have what it takes to go back-to-back?

LCS Summer Split 2024 Format

The LCS’s second split in 2024 will see a major change in format, with much-requested best-of-three matches returning to the North American competition CompetitionThe eight LCS teams play a full round-robin best-of-three seasonwhich means each team must play at least 14 games to secure a place in the top six.

Those who survive the seven-week competition and reach the top six will advance to the LCS Championship (also with a new format), with three of them booking their tickets to Europe for the 2024 World Cup.
