Latvian swimmer Bobrovs’ Olympic Games ended / Article

Bobrovs rode in the fourth heat in lane eight. Bobrovs finished his heat last with a time of 2 minutes and 13.66 seconds, which gave him 21st place out of 25 competitors.

“This time it was easier to swim, maybe I just didn’t have a good strategy,” the swimmer said afterwards.

Overall, Bobrovs was pleased with the start, as he managed to swim close to his personal best. He also said that this was probably his last Olympic Games.

Three years ago in Tokyo, Bobrov finished 31st out of 40 participants.
