STILLWATER — The transfer market moves much faster in sports like baseball, where scholarships are limited. It’s no surprise then that Oklahoma State coach Josh Holliday is parting ways with a number of players this offseason.

The Cowboys are coming off a disappointing end to the season, with a surprise loss to Florida in the Stillwater Regional at O’Brate Stadium. They are now dealing with the usual summer turnover of players as they seek better destinations.

Below is a look at who is coming into OSU Baseball through the transfer portal and who is leaving:

Coming to OSU

Tommy Allman, P., Jacksonville

Allman is a right-handed pitcher in his senior year. He had a 5.05 ERA with 52 strikeouts and 26 walks in 46 ⅓ innings in his junior season.

Harrison Bodendorf, P, Hawaii

The junior-to-be is a left-handed pitcher with experience as a starter and late-inning reliever. He had a 4.61 ERA with 64 strikeouts over 56 ⅔ innings last season.

Jayson Jones, OF, Arkansas

Jones was a highly regarded player coming out of high school in 2022. He played in 22 games over two seasons at Arkansas, posting a .194 batting average, four home runs and a .301 hitting percentage.

Mario Pesca, P, St. John’s

The 6-foot-3 right-handed pitcher, who will be in his third year, had a 2.96 ERA with 53 strikeouts and allowed just 15 extra-base hits in 76 innings.

Leaving OSU

Max Galvin, FROM

Galvin, a transfer from Coral Gables, Florida, attended a junior college and did not play a single game in his lone season at OSU.

Cole Johnson, 1B/P

The 6-foot-5, 225-pound right-handed pitcher did not play last season as a freshman.

Janzen Keisel, P

Keisel, who began his career at BYU, made 12 starts and 20 appearances in two seasons with the Cowboys, posting a 4.92 ERA and 74 strikeouts in 53 innings.

Max Knight, 1B/P

The left-handed pitcher from Bixby made one appearance as a pitcher and had three hits in six at-bats, with two hits in his first season.

Austin Lemon, OF

Lemon, a native of Heritage Hall in Oklahoma City, did not play his freshman season.

Bryce McCain, P

The right-handed pitcher from Aledo, Texas, did not play his first season.

Kyler Proctor, IF

As a freshman, the Silo player appeared at bat 18 times in 14 games.

Dominick Reid, P

The 6-foot-1 right-handed pitcher threw 19 ⅓ innings in two seasons with the Cowboys and posted a 4.66 ERA in four starts in his 12 appearances.

Weston Rouse, P

Rouse, a 6-foot-4 left-handed pitcher from Fort Gibson, did not play for the team last season.

Addison Smith, IF

Played in 15 games and came to bat four times in his first season.

Derek Smith, C

The catcher played in three games as a freshman in 2023, but was not part of the team for the 2024 season.

Tate Smith, P

The 6-foot-5 right-handed pitcher from Greeley, Colorado, did not play last season as a freshman.

Aaron Weber, P

After beginning his career at Cowley College in 2022, the Edmond Memorial player was a reliever at OU in 2023 before joining the Cowboys, where he threw six innings last season.
