Las Vegas Raiders-Los Angeles Chargers First Week 1 Injury Report Released

The Las Vegas Raiders are preparing for their first game of the 2024 season, a meeting with one of their division rivals, the Los Angeles Chargers.

On Wednesday, the club released its first injury report for the Week 1 game, which includes both its own and the Chargers’ injury updates.

All of the Raiders on the injury report were either limited or full participants in Las Vegas’ practice on Wednesday. The Chargers have just two players on the injury report.

Here are all the Raiders updates:

Raiders rookie tight end Brock Bowers was limited to Las Vegas’ practice Wednesday with a foot injury. Fellow rookies, linebacker Tommy Eichenberg and cornerback Decamerion Richardson, were also limited Wednesday with foot and hamstring injuries, respectively. Rookie defensive end Tyree Wilson is recovering from a foot injury but was a full participant Wednesday.

Raiders coach Antonio Pierce is confident Bowers will be ready to play Sunday.

“Yeah, I feel really good about it, honestly,” Pierce said last week. “Again, I’m going to protect the young man. Sometimes you come into the league, you’ve got to be smart and sometimes you’ve got to protect them from themselves. So that’s it.”

Raiders long-snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer is struggling with an abdominal injury, but was able to fully participate in training on Wednesday.

Finally, Raiders offensive tackle Kolton Miller was also in the mix, but he is recovering from a back injury.

Here are all the Chargers updates:

Chargers wide receiver DJ Chark Jr. did not participate in Los Angeles’ practice on Wednesday due to a hip injury.

Chargers cornerback Tarheeb Still also has a hip injury, but was limited in his participation in the team’s practice on Wednesday.
