Lady Cats Softball organizes softball camp with special guest Cheyenne Floyd

“This summer we are taking time to give back to our community,” Farmer said. “It is very important for our older girls at JV and Varsity to get back into the community and spark the softball interest of our little girls. We want to create that love when they are younger so they continue to develop, and that will help our program in the future.”

The Lady Cats players, under the direction of the coaches, were directly involved in running the drills for the girls who showed up. The campers participated in drills related to every position you can imagine on the softball diamond. Catching, throwing, hitting live pitches, softballing off a tee and baserunning were all included in the stations at camp.
