Kurt Zouma: West Ham defender on loan to Saudi Arabia Al-Orobah

West Ham defender Kurt Zouma has completed his loan move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Orobah.

The 29-year-old was captain of the Hammers for the 2023-24 season and took over the captaincy after Declan Rice left for Arsenal.

French defender Zouma made 103 appearances after joining from Chelsea for £29million in 2021.

While the deadline for transfers in the Premier League was on Friday, the transfer market in Saudi Arabia remains open until September 7.

Earlier this summer, Zouma agreed a move to Shabab Al-Ahli in the United Arab Emirates, but the transfer fell through when he failed a medical.

He had a year left on his contract at Hammers but the Londoners allowed him to stay in the region to agree a new deal, and his departure has now been confirmed.
