Kremlin dismisses rumors of halting attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities as fake news – Russian Politics and Diplomacy

MOSCOW, October 30. /TASS/. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that even reputable publications such as the Financial Times are not immune to spreading disinformation, following reports of alleged talks to convince Russia to stop attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

“Nowadays there are many fakes circulating that have no connection with reality. Even the most respected media do not hesitate to publish such fabrications,” he told reporters. When asked whether he was specifically referring to the Financial Times article, Peskov confirmed his statement.
