The T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 The stage started on June 19 and will run till June 25 (IST) in the West Indies.

The T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8, organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC), will see eight remaining teams compete in a total of twelve matches for the four semi-final spots.

The 2024 T20 World Cup earlier started with as many as 20 teams divided into four groups of five teams each, co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States.

India (Group A), USA (Group A), Australia (Group B), England (Group B), Afghanistan (Group C), West Indies(Group C), South Africa (Group D) and Bangladesh (Group D) are the eight teams that have qualified for the T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 stage.

These eight qualified teams have been further split into two groups of four teams each based on the ICC seedings decided ahead of the major tournament.

Super 8 Group 1 consists of India, Australia, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, while Super 8 Group 2 includes co-hosts from the US, England, West Indies and South Africa.

Under the Super 8 T20 World Cup 2024 format, each team will play the other three teams in their group once. The top two teams from each group advance to the semi-finals.

Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Kensington oval And Arnos Vale ground are the four venues where Super 8 T20 World Cup 2024 matches will take place.

The winners of the two semi-finals will meet in the 2024 T20 World Cup final at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 29.

The Super 8 T20 World Cup 2024 leg will follow a single round-robin format.

With a win, each team receives two points. If the match ends in a draw, the match will be decided in a Super over. If two or more teams finish equal on points, the Net execution rate (NRR) will come into play, with the party with a superior NRR being positioned higher.
