Kings Pick-up 25 26 option for Keegan Murray

The Sacramento Kings exercised their 2025-26 rookie scale team option on Keegan Murray. This will be Murray’s fourth and final season on his rookie deal and he will make $11.1 million next season.

In his first three years with the Kings, Murray has become a key rotation player. The 6-foot-1 combo forward averaged 15.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in his second season. Murray played 155 of the 157 games he played in in his first two NBA seasons.

Murray will be eligible for a rookie scale extension next summer. If no agreement is reached, he will become a restricted free agent in the summer of 2026.
