Kid Lykos II reflects on his role as part of PROGRESS Super Strong Style 16

Kid Lykos II was part of the PROGRESS Super Strong Style 16 tournament and he recently spoke about competing in the tournament. Lykos II competed in the quarterfinals of the tournament and lost to Luke Jacobs. He spoke to the promotion for a new interview and you can see the highlights below:

About participating in the tournament: “Wrestling in strong style felt like a huge accomplishment. But not making it to the finals didn’t feel that way. I’m proud of my accomplishment and couldn’t be more grateful for all the support I’ve received, but I’m also disappointed.”

OF Jacobs’ attack on Kid Lykos on the first night affected his mentality going into the match: “I was told that my best friend had been attacked by someone I considered one of my best friends. That’s enough to make anyone’s head spin. I went into that match with the motivation to take Luke out of that tournament and make him see sense, but I ultimately failed.”
