Kehlani breaks silence on allegations of inappropriate relationship with daughter

Kehlani is setting the record straight amid disturbing rumors surrounding her relationship with her daughter following her ongoing controversial lawsuit with her ex, Javaughn Young-White, the child’s father.

Alleged court documents filed by White surfaced online earlier this week, including a claim that Kehlani had once referred to their 5-year-old daughter as her “wife” in a past life, among other allegations.

On Wednesday evening (November 13), Kehlani vehemently denied the “heartbreaking” allegations in a statement on Instagram. She also shared screenshots of a conversation with White about their daughter as “her wife,” showing that her “flippant” comment made after reading a “past life” was taken out of context.

“I shared what I considered a light-hearted summary with the father of my child,” she wrote. “Laugh about it and take it as something light and don’t take it seriously. to then have those screenshots edited, to leave out the rest of the messages, to make it seem like I’m considering myself having an inappropriate relationship with my DAUGHTER.. is the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever heard. ”

She went on to explain that she had discussed the allegations in court and “taken the public beating,” amid her silence.

“but THIS is where I definitely draw the line,” she added. “I do NOT, and I have NEVER considered myself in any form of inappropriate relationship with my child. the rest of these absolutely monstrous allegations are being dealt with in court. Thank you.”

Kehlani: “Keep my daughter’s name out of your mouth”

In a series of follow-up posts on her Instagram Story, Kehlani revealed that the rumors have left her “exhausted” and “exhausted.”

She added, “I should be celebrating Grammy nominations with my now Grammy-nominated child. and yet here we are. let my daughter out of your mouth. you know NOTHING.”

Meanwhile, Kehlani filed a temporary restraining order against White in August. She alleged White was abusive and claimed his home was unable to accommodate their daughter.
