Keaton Winn Continues His Pitching Progress – MLB News

30 seconds agoSan Francisco Giants right-handed pitcher Keaton Winn (elbow) allowed five runs in 2 2/3 innings in his June 20 start against the St. Louis Cardinals at Rickwood Field before going on the 15-day injured list with an elbow issue on June 22 (retroactive to June 21). It was the second time Winn has been sidelined with an arm issue in 2024, as he previously missed more than 20 games with a right forearm strain. An MRI revealed no structural damage, and Winn has continued his pitching development in San Francisco. There is no timetable for Winn’s return, and the 26-year-old is not guaranteed a spot in the rotation when healthy after going 3-8 with a 7.16 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 48:20 K:BB in 55 1/3 innings this year. Fantasy managers in mixed leagues can still leave Winn on the waiver wire.Keith Hernandez – RotoBaller
