If synchronized tongue-bathing were an Olympic event, the fawning corporate media would win gold for its servile treatment of Kamala Harris. The moment she became the Democrats’ anointed, the party’s ever-obedient and loyal corporate media deputy stepped forward to hide her radical past, shield her from criticism, and repackage her as an unstoppable political phenomenon destined to save America from another Trump presidency.

But who is she?

We’re told that as San Francisco district attorney and California attorney general, Harris was a tough, hard-nosed prosecutor. But in her 2019 memoir, The Truths We Cherish: An American Journeyshe proclaimed, “America has a deep and dark history of people abusing the power of the prosecutor as an instrument of injustice.”

Perhaps that’s why, as a district attorney and attorney general, she proved herself to be a progressive social justice warrior who circumvented the state’s three-strikes law, delayed prosecutions and refused to bring death penalty cases even when the murder victim was a police officer.

Harris’s criminal past is hardly reassuring

As San Francisco’s district attorney from 2004 to 2011, Kamala protected illegal immigrants from federal immigration authorities. Of San Francisco, her spokesperson said, “We are a sanctuary city, and we always will be.”

In line with those comments, Kamala started “Back on Track,” a job placement program that allowed nonviolent offenders to avoid prison and clear their records through job training. She made this program available to illegal immigrants, even if they could not work legally.

On more than one occasion, graduates of the Back on Track program have reoffended. For example, in 2008, a Back on Track success story, illegal immigrant Alexander Izaguirre, robbed and assaulted 29-year-old Amanda Kiefer while she was walking with friends in San Francisco. Izaguirre took Amanda’s purse and then, for good measure, used an SUV to run her over, fracturing her skull.

Another beneficiary of Kamala’s sanctuary policy was Edwin Ramos Umaña, an illegal alien and member of the MS-13 gang. Despite being convicted of crimes including robbery and assaulting a pregnant woman, he remained safe from deportation in San Francisco.

Then on June 22, 2008, Ramos murdered Anthony Bologna, a convenience store manager, and his two young sons as they drove home from a family barbecue. For the next three years, Kamala’s office slowly worked through the case while Bologna’s wife and surviving children hid in witness protection. It was only when Kamala left the district attorney’s office that the case finally went to trial and Ramos was convicted.

Also in 2008 the Sa Francisco Chronicle The editorial criticized local authorities for using taxpayer money to fly convicted illegal drug dealers back to their homes in Honduras, rather than turning them over to the federal government for deportation.

“District Attorney Kamala Harris does not escape unscathed,” the editorial board wrote. “Her prosecutors should have known that convicted drug dealers could avoid deportation. If they objected, they were ineffective. If they didn’t, they were either unclear about the law or disregarded the city’s best interests.”

These are just a few examples of Kamala’s reckless, reckless, and downright illegal prosecution policies and actions. Add to that her advocacy for defunding the police and her efforts to raise bail money for the rioters who burned and looted cities in the wake of George Floyd, and you begin to get the true picture of a radical social justice warrior who has done her best to undermine the rule of law.

Kamala Harris’s record at the border is no better

And the disaster at the southern border? Without any apparent shame, she claims — without any media pushback — that border security was not her job.

But three years ago, this exchange took place when NBC’s Lester Holt interviewed Kamala about the crisis at the southern border:

Holt: “Do you have plans to visit the border?”

Harris: “At some point…we’re going to the border. We’ve been to the border. So this whole thing, we’ve been to the border.”

Holt: “You haven’t been to the border.”

Harris: “And I’ve never been to Europe. (laughs) I don’t get the point you’re making.”

In June 2022, she lied unequivocally on NBC’s Meet the Press program: “We have a secure border.” She then said, “We need to have a path to citizenship” for those who cross the border illegally.

The point here is that in all her public statements, for Although she was designated as the Democratic presidential candidate, she has never denied that she has a role or responsibility in maintaining security at the border.

But now she and her media adviser are claiming she was never the “border czar” or played any role in facilitating the influx of millions of illegal immigrants.

This is despite the fact that on March 24, 2021, President Biden directed Kamala to “lead our efforts” to work with Mexico and Central America to stem the flow of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border.

Biden made the appointment despite the fact that in 2018, as a U.S. senator, Kamala had advocated for the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the elimination of privately owned ICE detention facilities, the reduction of the number of ICE detention beds, and subsequently dismissed the construction of the border wall as “a stupid use of money” and President Trump’s “vanity project.”

Also in 2018, during a Senate hearing, she attempted to compare ICE agents to the Ku Klux Klan.

In 2019, she supported the decriminalization of illegal border crossings.

On July 25, 2024, the House of Representatives passed a bipartisan resolution “strongly condemning” “the failure of the Biden administration and its Border Czar Kamala Harris to secure the United States border.” The resolution states that “since Joe Biden and Kamala Harris took office,” there have been “over 9.7 million encounters with illegal immigrants nationwide,” “2 million known escapes that evaded the United States Border Patrol,” and “multiple illegal aliens with terrorist ties” have been released into the United States.

The resolution also states that “the Biden administration, under Border Czar Harris, has flown at least 400,000 illegal immigrants into the country.”

The foregoing is just a brief summary of Kamala’s border record on illegal immigration. Despite her denials and the media’s attempts to absolve her of any responsibility for the border disaster, her record makes it clear that President Harris would keep the border floodgates open.

After all, what better way to create an electorally decisive group of Democratic voters than to import millions of illegal immigrants, give them free government benefits and citizenship, and then register them so they can vote for their benefactors forever?

This taxpayer-funded undermining and fundamental transformation of American society is underway and Kamala is one of its chief architects.

But don’t expect the corrupt corporate media to look into this historic event. They know their mission and will therefore continue to obstruct Kamala from now until election day and do their best to hide her radical past and beliefs from the voters.
