Actor Kofi Adu, better known by his stage name Agya Koo, has denied rumors that he and fellow actor Kwadwo Nkansah, better known by his stage name Lilwin, were having personal problems.

Speaking on Kumasi-based radio station Lawson Radio, he stated that they have a friendly relationship, underscoring that it is human nature for people to fabricate trouble where none exists.

“It’s similar to how people said Anthony Yeboah and Abedi Pele were at odds, or Daddy Lumba and Nana Acheampong were arguing,” he said.

Agya Koo stated that he firmly believed in Lilwin when he was initially shown on set as a gifted comedian with promise.

“I encouraged them to sign him because we had a goal to compete with Nigerian actors. If there was someone with talent, it was best to involve them.”
