Jordan Beck to be evaluated this week – MLB News

16 seconds agoColorado Rockies outfield prospect Jordan Beck (hand) was scheduled to return to Denver on Wednesday to be seen by team personnel. Beck has been at the team’s facility in Arizona after undergoing surgery on May 29 to place a plate in his hand to help him heal after suffering a broken left hand on May 25. “He’s out of his cast and doing baseball activities. I think he’s here to get checked out by our team doctors and (head coach Keith Dugger) and the rest of the guys. He’s doing great, he’s doing well,” manager Bud Black said. Beck is the team’s No. 3 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline, and could be cleared to begin a rehab assignment soon. The former 38th overall pick in 2022 out of Tennessee made his major league debut this year and struggled, going 15-for-79 (.190) with two homers, eight RBI, two steals, one walk and 30 Ks in 23 games played.Keith Hernandez – RotoBaller
