JJ Redick Bronny James can become a truly disruptive defender

JJ Redick praised Bronny James after the Los Angeles Lakers’ 124-107 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the preseason.

“He had some really good days in August and September. This week he had three really good days. We are very happy with his progress,” Redick said.

James finished the match with two points and three blocks in 16 minutes.

Redick added that James could play a role as a “disruptive defender” in the league.

“He can do some things defensively at his size that are really unique, and I think he can be a really disruptive defender. That manifested itself. On the offensive side, he’s still figuring out who he is,” Redick said .

LeBron James, who was absent on Friday, is expected to play on Sunday.
