The 44-year-old designer celebrated the first day of school for her three children: daughter Maxwell12, son Ace11, and daughter Little bird5, which she shares with her husband Eric Johnson—on September 4 with a heartfelt tribute, along with rare photos of all three together.

“You make your mama shine with smiles and grace,” the “Public Affair” singer captioned her Instagram carousel, which began with a photo of the mom smiling broadly with her trio. “Keep showing yourselves every step of this new school year!”

She gushed, “I am so incredibly proud of all of you for individually letting your light shine so that others can feel the glow in turn.”

Jessica and her kids were photographed laughing before striking a series of silly poses in the subsequent photos of her post. In one photo, her two oldest children, Maxwell and Ace, adorably lift their younger sister, Birdie, into the air.
