Timberwolves president of operations Tim Connelly sat down with our Darren “Doogie” Wolfson at the Minnesota State Fair on Tuesday. They talked about Connelly’s time at the Paris Olympics, Anthony Edwards, Rudy Gobert, Jaden McDaniels, whether there could be a roster move before the season starts, and more. Tim Connelly: “We want Rudy to be here for a long time. We love his agent, he’s been our friend for a long time and he’s one of the best guys in the league. Our goal with most of these guys is to keep them here as long as possible and everybody’s very happy. So ideally, continuity is one of the better strengths we’re going to have this season, and we’re very happy with our core group.”
