Jeff Stelling names another striker West Ham will sign after Fullkrug

West Ham United have already completed the arrival of German international Niclas Fullkrug.

The Hammers were in need of a new striker and have found the right player in Fullkrug, who scored 15 goals for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga and Champions League combined last season.

The attacker was selected for Germany’s squad for Euro 2024, where he scored two goals for the European powerhouse.

He will now embark on a new Premier League adventure for the Hammers, but he may not be the only striker West Ham sign this summer.

According to Jeff Stelling, the residents of East London are still interested in a transfer for Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran.

During an interview with talkSPORT, as reported by West Ham Zone, Stelling said:

“As well as Fullkrug they have also signed Max Kilman and Crysencio Summerville – £110m so far this transfer window, second only to Aston Villa, and they may not be finished yet as I understand they are still interested in Jhon Duran. That is despite signing Fullkrug.”

Duran could leave this summer as Villa are keen to sell the striker.

He scored just five goals for Unai Emery’s side last season, but he is a good finisher who can also provide an attacking presence up front.

West Ham’s interest in Duran makes sense as they cannot rely solely on Fullkrug to score goals this season.

The German is new to the league and will take some time to adjust, but Duran will have no problems with that.
