Childhood is special for Goldblum, because he knew from an early age what he wanted to do when he grew up. As a result, he has continued to dedicate himself fully to his work for five decades in his professional career.

“You know, I’ve wanted to be an actor since I was 10,” he said. “And I still pinch myself and think, ‘Wow, this is a wonderful opportunity. It would be a shame if you didn’t make the most of it.’ So I just try to show up to work and be grateful and thankful for everything.”

Still, Charlie and River can’t get used to their famous father taking care of everything for them. In April, he stated that he expects them to “row their own boat” when they get older.
