Jacob Lees aims for Cheyenne semi-finals after impressive performance in 3rd stage

Jacob Lees’ quarterfinal ride at the Daddy of ‘Em All on Half Moon of Rocky Mountain Rodeo resulted in an 85-point ride, securing a spot in the semifinals.

The world’s No. 7 bareback rider is in the midst of a second National Finals Rodeo appearance, and with rides like this, he might just get a step closer.

“Man, that was a great horse from Rocky Mountain and yeah, I don’t know why I did that. It was just fun, I had such a good time. It was just cool to point to the guys,” he said.

Lees is on the verge of reaching the semi-finals with Orin Larsen, Roedy Farrell and Bryce Eck of Performance 3.
