Jackie Chan is Jackie Chan in Well Go USA’s new stunt epic action comedy PANDA PLAN! – ACTION-FLIX.COM

Action and martial arts icon Jackie Chan is back, playing…well…himself in a new action comedy featuring an adorable panda. Titled Panda planChan plays a fictional version of himself where he stars as a legendary Kung Fu star (great height, right?) who must battle ruthless mercenaries bent on kidnapping a rare panda. Filled with Chan’s signature action design and slapstick comedy on screen, this one seems to appeal to all family members. Check out the new trailer and key artwork below!

Official summary: Shortly after legendary kung fu star Jackie Chan is invited to adopt a beloved zoo panda named Hu Hu, a notorious international crime syndicate sets its sights on the bear and offers a huge bounty for his capture. Faced with this sudden crisis, Jackie enlists the help of his agent and Hu Hu’s very dedicated caregiver. He leads the trio on an outrageous and unforgettable adventure as they try to outsmart (and defeat) the bad guys at every opportunity.

What culminates is the hilariously cute panda humor, Chan’s signature slapstick action, and stunning set pieces that only the action icon can deliver. I’m more of a fan of serious Jackie in movies these days, but it’s hard to say no to Jackie, even when he’s making fun of himself. Chan is of course no stranger to starring alongside cute animals and children, two things they say you should never act with anyway, so this seems like a great movie to watch with my daughter because she can enjoy of the cute panda, and I enjoy watching Jackie do Jackie things.

Zhang Luan directs with supporting cast members including Hu Hu, Wei Xiang, Shi Ce, Han Yanbo and Jia Bing. The film will have a limited release in theaters on October 18, with a home video and digital release shortly after.
