Ipswich Town news: Club ‘deeply saddened’ by the death of Trevor Whymark

Ipswich Town have said they are “deeply saddened” by the death of former striker Trevor Whymark. passed away earlier this week, external at the age of 74.

Whymark made his debut for the Suffolk club in 1970 and played 335 games before moving to Derby County in 1979.

His total of 104 goals puts him sixth on Ipswich’s list of all-time top goalscorers.
