FILE – Allied Property and Casualty is asking a federal judge to deny coverage for Carson Steffen, a former University of Iowa student accused of sexual assault at a fraternity house in 2020, as his civil trial is scheduled for Nov. 5, 2024, at amid claims that the insurance excludes criminal offences.
