Vijay Varma’s Latest Offering IC814: The Kandahar Hijacking premiered on Netflix on August 29. Recently, the actor’s close friend and makeup artist Billy Manik hosted a viewing party for the actor at her home. Among the attendees were Vijay along with his actress girlfriend Tamannaah Bhatia, directors Reema Sengupta, Pooja Shetty and others. Sharing a series of pictures from the viewing party, Reema wrote, “Celebrating @itsvijayvarma for playing nonstop! Happy release day to IC814! Go watch it and appreciate Vijay!!”

Vijay Varma also shared a series of pictures from the watch party on Instagram. He wrote, “#IC814 watchparty. Thanks @billymanik81 for organizing this.”

In a recent interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Vijay revealed why he made his relationship with Tamannaah public in such a short span of time. He said, “I think we both agreed that if we enjoy spending time together and if we like each other, then we don’t have to hide it. It takes a lot of effort to hide a relationship. You can’t go out together, your friends can’t take pictures of you. I don’t like such restrictions. It wasn’t that I wanted to be there, but I just didn’t want to be locked up. I didn’t want to lock up my feelings.”

The actor also revealed that some aspects of their relationship are still “under wraps”. For example, Vijay mentioned that he has over 5,000 pictures of them together but they haven’t shared any of them on social media because they wanted to keep them “close to their hearts”.
