INEOS Grenadiers confirms its massive firepower for the 2024 Tour de France with Carlos Rodriguez, Bernal, Thomas and Pidcock heading to Florence

Team INEOS Grenadiers confirmed its expected line-up for the 2024 Tour de France with several top cyclists who could share the lead of the British squad in the best race in the world.

Juan Larra of CiclismoAlDía believes that the lead should be in the hands of 23-year-old Carlos Rodriguez, who finished fifth last year and won a stage. The Spanish climber recently showed very good form with a second place and a stage in Itzulia, overall victory in Romandie and fourth place and a stage in Dauphiné.

We know that Tom Pidcock will not volunteer as domestique and that he will try to fight to be as high as possible in the final rankings in Nice. This year the British talent finished sixth in the Algarve, ninth in Tirreno and sixth in Switzerland. He also won the Amstel Gold Race and finished 10th in Liège. Juan Larra thinks he would do better if he fought for stages and the mountains classification, but he has made it clear time and time again that he wants to see if he can win overall and we imagine he will give it his all.

The other two who could be leaders are Egan Bernal and Geraint Thomas. ‘G’ is coming off a podium in the Giro and has made it clear in advance that he is coming to the Grande Boucle to help, although of course anything can happen if he ultimately ends up in the rankings. In the same way, the Colombian is one carte blanche. Bernal is showing increasingly better legs and could have been INEOS’ overall leader at the Vuelta a España, but he insisted on riding the Tour instead. These four leaders will rely on experienced housemates Jonathan Castroviejo, Laurens de Plus, Michael Kwiatkowski and Ben Turner to guide them safely through the chaotic first stages.

INEOS Grenadiers line-up for Tour De France 2024:
