Here is the full press release from IU Athletics:

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University men’s basketball head coach Mike Woodson has announced the addition of Adam Howard as the program’s assistant director of recruiting and operations.

“Adam comes from a great basketball family,” Woodson said. “His father, Todd, is a legendary coach in this state. Adam has been a tremendous asset to us in recruiting and we are excited to keep him on our staff as we continue to push this program forward.”

Howard previously served two seasons as a graduate manager for the Hoosiers after a four-year stint as a student manager. The Indianapolis native served as Indiana’s head manager his senior year.

He is the President of Men’s Basketball Operations for Grow the Game, an executive-led organization that helps the next generation of coaches build real relationships and advance their careers. As part of his duties, Howard raises funds and hosts the Grow the Game Zoom Series, which has hosted coaches from all levels and positions in the game of basketball.

Howard was named National Student Manager of the Year by the Grow the Game manager community at the 2022 NCAA Final Four in New Orleans. He was invited to the third annual TopConnect Leadership Academy, hosted by Rob Ehsan. The GA Leadership Academy consists of 22 high-performing assistants across the country.
