Independence Day closures for Prescott Valley, Prescott and Chino Valley

With Independence Day just around the corner, many city services close in honor of the holiday. Below is your quick reference list for all 4th of July closures in Prescott Valley, Prescott and Chino Valley.

City of Prescott Valley

The City of Prescott Valley offices will be closed in observance of Independence Day on Thursday, July 4. From July 5 they will be open again according to normal opening hours.

The following Town of Prescott Valley facilities are also closed on the 4th of July:

• Civic Center
• Police lobby and administrative offices. For emergencies you can call 911, for non-emergencies you can call 928-772-9267.
• Prescott Valley Public Library

City of Prescott

The City of Prescott will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in honor of Independence Day. The city office will reopen on Friday, July 5 at 8:00 am.

The Solid Waste Department will be collecting household waste and recyclables on Thursday, July 4. Make sure your containers are on the street before 6:00 am. Commercial routes will also be served according to their regular schedules.

The City of Prescott Transfer Station will be closed on Thursday, July 4. The transfer station will reopen as normally scheduled on Friday, July 5. Remember to cover and enclose all loads when transporting them to the transfer station.

City of Chino Valley

The City of Chino Valley offices will be closed in observance of Independence Day on Thursday, July 4. The city office will open again from July 5 according to regular opening hours.

City of Chino Valley facilities that are also closed include:

• The Chino Valley Library will be closed on Thursday, July 4. They will be open again on July 5 with normal opening hours from 9am to 6pm.
• Senior Center: Closed and will reopen on July 5 with normal hours.

Yavapai Province

Yavapai County offices, including the Arizona Superior Court, will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
