Liverpool have enough on their plate, and that’s before we even consider the implications of Trent Alexander-Arnold’s friendly relationship with Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham.

The current terms of number 66 – like those of Virgil van Dijk and Mo Salah – provisionally expire in the summer of 2025.

Los Blancos are understandably keeping a close eye on the situation and are hoping to secure the England international (along with several other Premier League talents, according to Miguel Delaney of The Independent).

With that in mind, the Liverpool Academy graduate’s continued flirtations with his international compatriot on Instagram will do little to assuage fans’ concerns.
