‘I’m gonna punch a hole through the ceiling’ claims excited Kyle Brandt as GMFB makes return from hiatus in new era

GMFB is back this morning – and nobody is more hyped than co-host Kyle Brandt.

The energetic NFL personality is known for his high-octane delivery, pop culture references, and, of course, Angry Runs.

Popular show GMFB has been off screens for four months after moving from New York to Los Angeles.

The revamped edition returns at 8 am ET, and Brandt is hyping up fans.

“Monday morning, Good Morning Football is back after 4 months away,” he posted on X.

“Many, many of you have tweeted “Where are you guys?” “My mornings aren’t the same” They will be from now on.

“Massive show tomorrow on @NFLNetwork I’m gonna punch a hole through the ceiling.”

Brandt’s post included a GIF from Gladiator with Russell Crowe telling his fellow soldier to “unleash hell.”

“The weird part is I think you’re being literal,” commented one fan.

“THANK GAWD!!! I can’t take any more “Super Bowl Classics”,” added another.

“Let’s go we missed you,” a third posted.

“I’m way too happy to hear about the ineptitude of my cowboys first thing every morning,” commented a pessimistic Dallas supporter.

A fifth simply wrote: “ANGRY RUNNNNNS.”

Current hosts Jamie Erdahl, Brandt, and Peter Schrager will be joined by new additions Akbar Gbajabiamila and Sherree Burruss.

And Brandt, 45, promised fans that they will not be let down despite the changes.

“The second that first topic comes up and we scream out, ‘The Lead Block,’ and then we’re off to talking about whoever’s training camp, it’s going to be like, ‘Oh, it’s Good Morning Football in a bigger studio, ‘” Brandt told Deadline.

“That’s my reassurance. We didn’t break it. We’re not going to change it.
