iciHaiti – Football: Eligibility of first division clubs

The Club Licensing Commission (COLICLUB) of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) met on July 8, 2024 at the invitation of the Secretary General, Patrick Massenat, to decide on the eligibility of first division clubs to obtain the license for 2024.

The three members of the Commission, Me Cadet Paul Rachel (Chairman), Jean Kléberson (Vice-Chairman) and Lafleur Ronald (Member), officially took note of the various files that the FHF Club Licensing Manager, Jean Joshua Mervil, has been working on.

The documents submitted by the First Division clubs will be carefully analysed by the Commission, which will verify their authenticity before possibly granting the 2024 licence to clubs that meet the criteria established by the Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) and the FHF.

COLICLUB undertakes to work in complete independence in the field of permits.No club will be privileged” confirmed the President of the Commission, Me Cadet Paul Rachel, adding that the regulations will be their compass. According to the members of the Commission, the final report for the various files submitted should be available before 15 July.

Let us not forget that all Haitian clubs will be subject to this process. The process was restarted for indoor soccer in May of last year, for D2 on June 9, 2024, for women’s clubs on June 22, and for academies and soccer schools on July 4, 2024.
