I-26 eastbound crashes free after mile-long backup

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Multiple lane closures on I-26 east slowed the morning commute for many, causing long delays and standstill traffic.

Video from the South Carolina Department of Transportation shows officials at the scene working to clear the crash at mile marker 211.

Traffic jams were visible up to 10 kilometers from the accident site.
