Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Centric Malta, marking the brand’s first presence on the Mediterranean island. This is the seventh Hyatt Centric hotel in Europe and reflects the company’s growing portfolio in the region, which now includes more than 80 properties from 13 brands.

In St. Julian’s, a vibrant seaside resort, Hyatt Centric Malta offers easy access to the island’s history and culture. The hotel is close to the marina, world-class restaurants, pristine beaches and several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Valletta.

The modern design of the 170-room hotel reflects Malta’s rich history and traditions. The interior is inspired by the vibrant colors of Malta, with blue room doors and earth tones throughout the hotel. These design elements are intended to create an inviting atmosphere while providing guests with sophisticated comfort.

Hyatt Centric Malta also offers a locally inspired dining experience at JUMU restaurant. The menu features a mix of traditional dishes adapted to contemporary tastes, all prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant aims to provide a lively atmosphere that embodies the Mediterranean spirit.

In addition to the culinary offering, the hotel also offers wellness experiences where guests can relax and recharge their batteries. These include a rooftop pool with sea views, a boutique wellness center with an indoor pool, a hot tub, a Finnish sauna and a gym equipped with the latest fitness technology.

The Hyatt Centric Malta also offers 1,808 square meters of event space, including three meeting rooms for business functions. “We are pleased to welcome guests to the first Hyatt Centric hotel in Malta,” said Andrea Farrugia, Hotel Manager of Hyatt Centric Malta. “The hotel offers an engaging guest experience that captures the essence of Malta and offers a wealth of culture and historical experiences.”
