Hulk Hogan Criticized After Bizarre Chris Benoit Comparison; Wrestling News Roundup, September 4

On September 3, Hulk Hogan was a guest on Logan Paul’s podcast ‘Impaulsive’.

It’s not surprising that Hogan’s comments have already made headlines, given his recent past.

While discussing the mixed reactions from fans over the years, ‘The Hulkster’ revealed that he is confident that wrestling fans will eventually forgive him, citing Chris Benoit (yes, you read that right) as another example.

Hogan would say that if fans can forgive Benoit for what he did, then they can surely forgive him too.

“If Chris Benoit can do the shit he did and the fans still love him (why not me?), then they’re forgiving… I’ve made some big mistakes… they’re very, very forgiving.”

Since the comments broke, social media has been flooded with fans, wrestlers and critics alike harshly criticizing Hogan for his comments.
