Level up your character once you reach maximum level The war within is easy, especially if you spend time exploring Azj-Kahet. A special piece of jewelry worth looking out for is the Nerubian Pheromone Secreter, as you can customize it with useful scent items.

Here’s how to use scent boxes, along with tips on how to get the necessary trinkets and also pick up scents in the City of Threads.

How to get fragrance boxes Wow

To bring the tastiest trinket with scented boxes into your home The war withinyou need to increase your awareness of The Severed Threads minimum level seven. For this you must have the maximum level.

Of all the glory that comes with the expansion, this one is surprisingly fast, thanks to the pact system. Every time you make a pact with one of the faction leaders, you can increase your fame level at the same time. Look forward to these weekly quests:

• General’s knifeto collaborate with The General
• Hand of the Vizierto work with De Vizier
• Eyes of the Weaverto collaborate with The Weaver

Each of these missions starts with a progress bar that you fill by killing Azj-Kahet rares, completing World Quests, completing Rumor tasks, and completing quest lines in the zone. You can only choose one at a timeso check out the individual benefits of each pact in advance.

We found quests to be somewhat unreliable in filling the bar for these quests. To retrieve Rumors And World missions wherever you can, as these offer the most progress, and keep an eye on Rares as you fly through the zone.

When you reach level seven Fame, go to the Weaver’s Lair and speak to Lady Vinazianthe quartermaster of The Severed Threads. You can buy the Nerubic pheromone secreter from her, a trinket with two scent sockets.

How to use fragrance boxes in The war within

If you have a scent box item, such as the Nerubian Pheromone Secreter, equip it and open your character screen. Press Shift and right-click on the ornament to open the Fragrance Socket screen. It will appear next to your character, as shown above.

From there, you can drag and drop relevant scents onto the sockets. Once they get there, they have a chance to activate when the trinket goes into action. As the trinket’s description explains, reaching a higher reputation level with your matches will result in a higher chance of activating more pheromones.

To get scents, go to the City of Threads. There are four suppliers you can talk to, three of which are in the same area. Go to the area shown below to find Tej the Undying, Rej the Dying, and Venom Dahn.

You can talk to Rej and Tej at their stall. Rej the Dying sells the inscrutable scentwhich can also be found from other vendors, and this scent increases mastery when you equip it and activate it during battle.

Tej the Undying sells the invigorating scentwhich encourages Haste instead of Mastery. All scents cost 150 Kej each.

Venom Dahn, a supplier of Flavor Enhancements and Assassination Supplements, can be found in the same area as Rej and Tej.

This supplier sells the volatile scentwhich affects your Critical Strike stat.

The final scent vendor is “Eight Shaker” Sallow, which can be found in the building in the area shown on the map below.

Beware of guards hereas there are quite a few in the area patrolling or guarding nearby buildings.

Sallow sells the Robust scentwhich affects your Versatility stat.

The best combination of scents to use with your jewelry depends on your class, so it’s worth deciding in advance which ones you want, rather than buying them all. Kej is a valuable currency, and some of the rarer items associated with it are incredibly expensive.
