How to Unlock Storage Space in TCG Card Shop Simulator

Storage is a big problem in the beginning TCG Card Shop Simulatorwhere players place their boxes behind the counter or wherever. It’s not great, and a storage room and door plague you during your first few hours of gameplay that seemingly can’t be unlocked.

No matter how much money you get early in the game and how many shop upgrades you buy, the door will never open, leading many players to believe that it is not possible to get the storage space yet. However, there is a way to open it, as long as you progress far enough in the game.

How to get into the storage room in TCG Card Shop Simulator

When you browse through your different purchase tabs in TCG Card Shop Simulatorthere is no mention of the storage space next to it or when you unlock it. The door is locked which is a bit annoying especially as your business grows and gets more stuff.

I thought it wasn’t available for the first few hours of the game, since it’s still an early access title where the devs are regularly rolling out changes and updates. Luckily there is a way, but you have to reach a few checkpoints first.

You must reach store level 15 and have $5,000 available. When you do that, you open the RENO BIG app and click on the “Shop Lot B” option. While you might think this unlocks a second card shop for you to manage, that’s not what this is. Instead, when you purchase this option, you unlock the storage room next to it and both doors can finally open, giving you space to set up shelves and store product for you or your NPC helpers to effectively restock.

You can only use the space for storage, so buying and transferring stuff to the room can be a bit of a headache the first time you unlock it, but once you actually have stuff stored there, you and your staff can access it at any time and use the new room to keep everything in one place without throwing it on the floor or taking up space in the main store.

A word of caution if you’re looking to upgrade your store. Each upgrade costs hundreds of dollars each time and will increase your rent costs significantly. So if you’re planning on taking storage on top of that and don’t have a reliable source of income, you could be headed for a game over pretty quickly.
