To recreate in DIGESTIVEfollow these simple steps:

  1. Open the in-game chat.
  2. Enter “/remake” to start a remake vote.
  3. All players must select “Yes” by pressing F5 for the remake to succeed.

If a player disconnects at the start of a match, from the start of the buy phase to the end of the first round, you can trigger a ‘remake call’ at the start of the second round by typing /remake in the chat. You can only remake in the second round of a map.

To recreate the match and start over from scratch, all affiliated players in the team must agree to a remake through a voting system.

If there are four players left on the team, each player must vote “yes” to recreate the match. If even one player votes “no” for whatever reason, the match continues to the next round.

What happens when you make a remake in VALORANT?

There’s almost no reason not to vote for a remake, because it not the same as a forfeiture. When you make a remake, you don’t lose any RR and you avoid playing through an entire game at a disadvantage. It’s always in your and your team’s best interest to vote “yes” when a remake vote comes up.

The remake vote lasts until the buying phase of the second round. It expires if the vote fails, just like a forfeit vote. Due to the similarities between a forfeit and a remake vote, many players who have never seen the remake option might initially assume it is a forfeit.

Do you lose RR when remaking in VALORANT?

If the vote is successful and the game is recreated, the players who voted will receive receives no XP, RR, or MMR loss for the match.

The only person punished in a remake scenario is the disconnected player, who will receive a penalty equivalent to disconnecting during an entire match. This penalty helps prevent queue dodging and time wasting for everyone involved. That said, if the disconnected player isn’t a repeat offender, they may be able to avoid the penalty.
