How to Get Spoils of Conquest in Destiny 2

Raids are a large part of Lot 2‘s endgame. Whether you’re running through a years-old raid or the latest challenging adventure, there’s always loot waiting for you – and if you can’t get raid loot due to weekly lockouts, you definitely will Spoils of conquest for your problems.

Spoils of Conquest are Bungie’s way of rewarding players for raiding, and can also give players access to raid-exclusive loot. Here’s everything you need to know about Spoils of Conquest in Lot 2—how to grow them and where to spend them.

Where can you get Spoils of Conquest in Lot 2

Spoils of Conquest is a currency found by complete raids in Lot 2. They are obtained through repeated encounters or opening secret chests, and they drop on a per-character basis. Each time you open a secret chest on a character, you will receive three to five conquest spoils depending on which raid you are doing.

Most players spend their Spoils of Conquest on weapons and armor from the vendor that you can find after defeating the raid boss. You can only buy a piece of gear that has already been randomly dropped in a previous run of that specific raid. Standard armor and weapons costs 20 Lootwhile Adept weapons cost 25 Spoils.

Assuming the weapon has a pattern that you can craft yourself, the first weapon you pick up from a raid vendor will have Deepsight (red border). After you collect five of them, you can unlock the pattern that you can use in The Enclave.

Alternatively, you can spend your loot on the Exotic archive in the towerwhich contains exotic weapons from raids that are no longer accessible such as the Anarchy from Scourge of the past or Tarrabah from Crown of Sorrow. These all cost the full 240 Spoils, so you’ll have to do a few raids before you can pick them up.

What’s the best way to farm Spoils of Conquest in Destiny 2?

You get the most conquest loot by completing the latest Lot 2 invasionwhich at the time of writing is Salvation’s Edge. It’s also possible to farm a decent amount of Spoils each week from the older raids—and in some cases, you don’t even need a fireteam.

The first box in Vow of the Disciple can be found before the first main encounter; it takes a few minutes to guide the pyramid ship through the swamps outside the ship, but repeating this chest opening on all three Lot 2 Characters can add 15 Spoils to their inventory per week with a small investment.

Opening section of Vault of Glass is also pretty easy, though you will need a few friends for this one. Stand on the slabs and protect them as you normally would, open the door to the main raid, collect the first chest, then find and open the first secret chest. Repeat with your other two characters for another 15 Spoils per week. Completing the Templar encounter can add even more to this and shouldn’t take long.

Completing legacy raids (such as Deep stone crypt, garden of redemption and last wish) give less loot per chest or encounter, but are more likely to be powercrept by newer Lot 2 weapons.

Of course you’ll still need a fire team, but these raids are a lot easier than they used to be and can also be a good source of conquest loot.
