Despite grabbing the keys from Twitch, some players were unable to download the keys Delta Force: Hawk Operations‘ alpha build due to error ‘failed to branch list’. Unfortunately, there is no official explanation why the error occurs. As far as I’ve noticed, only players who using an access key they received as a Twitch drop are confronted with the problem.

As explained in a Steam thread , branch list is likely another name for whitelist, so your account probably hasn’t been whitelisted by Team Jade yet—hence the error. Or it could be something you’re doing. That’s where the workarounds come in.

Here are some things you can try to fix the error:

  1. Log in with the Level Infinite Pass account you used to get the Twitch key.
  2. Try logging out of your Level Infinite Pass account through the launcher and logging back in.
  3. Make sure to activate the product through Steam after you receive the key. To do this, launch Steam and click on the Games tab at the top of the screen. Select Activate a Product on Steam and enter the key you received from Twitch. This should whitelist your account for the alpha test and allow you to download and launch the game from your Steam library. Do not use the default launcher.

Team Jade has acknowledged the issues with access keys received via Twitch Drops and is working to fix the bugs. If the above solutions do not work, we encourage you to submit a ticket for a thorough resolution.
