How to Complete the Drunken Pig Quest in Black Myth: Wukong

There are numerous side missions you can undertake during your journey through Black Myth: WukongDefeating huge bosses and exploring mythical China. One of the many quests you can find is sobering up the Drunken Pig, which can be found as you play through Chapter Two. If you need help completing this task, we’re here to help.

Where to find the drunken pig in Black Myth: Wukong

To complete the side quest, you’ll first need to find the Drunken Pig. You can do this at the Rockrest Flat Checkpoint during Chapter Two, which is located at Fright Cliff. Once you’ve traveled to that point, continue through the cliffs.

You’ll pass a few enemies and eventually find a group of rocks. This is where the Drunken Boar is lounging. Interact with him and he’ll demand that you find something to sober him up.

To sober up the drunken bear, you must Sobering stone. You can pick one up at the Windrest Bridge near the Yellow Wind Formation. Travel to this location and go forward across the bridge.

From there, go up the stairs to the village. Turn left to find more stairs and continue forward along the protruding rock. To the right are more stairs that you climb, up to a gate. Through this gate and to the left is a small hut with a fire burning outside.

In this hut is a pot that you can break open. Inside is a Sobering Stone.

If you have unlocked the Man-In-Stone as a merchant, you can also purchase one directly from his shop. However, you must have completed his quests in order to purchase items from him. If you haven’t done so yet, I recommend just picking one up from the Windrest Bridge.

Go back to Rockrest Flat and give the Sobering Stone to the Drunk Pig. He will get up and thank you, before going off to find some food. The next time you see him at the Crouching Tiger Temple, you should have some food for him.

What you should feed him is a Jade Lotus. You can buy this from the shop at the Temple Entrance Shrine if you want, but chances are you’ve already come across this plant while gathering resources. You can find it in the water at the beginning of Chapter Two.

In the Crouching Tiger Temple, go to the right before you go to the Tiger Vanguard boss. You will find the Drunk Pig resting here and you can give him the Jade Lotus you collected. If you do, he will give you some gold.

Go back to where you first found the Drunken Boar, and you’ll find the Yellow-Robed Squire. This is the brother of the Drunk Pig. Defeat him, and he’ll open the gate to the Secret Kingdom of Sahali – which is now a desolate wasteland. This secret area is full of bosses and treasure, though. It’s a great location to farm if you’re looking for one.

You get the Snout mask as a reward for your troubles, which will increase your Attack moderately after using the Gourd. Not a bad trinket to receive for all your hard work.
